In the previous period, TUVUKE Initiative mobilized the youth to participate in the electoral process as leaders and voters through peace concerts, exhibitions and skits in conflict prone areas. Youth were also engaged through virtual platforms including twitter, Face book and TUVUKE Initiative YouTube Channels on their rights and responsibilities in the electoral process. This engagement resulted in knowledge sharing thus breaking down barriers to participation in electoral processes.

TUVUKE Initiative believes strongly that the youth should be able to have a meaningful role to play in nation building and their participation and involvement in political, social and economic decision making is fundamental.. Cognizant of the role of University and College Student Leaders movements in Kenya, TUVUKE Initiative seeks to support the them to redefine themselves as critical stakeholders in national and county- level social and economic development.
